With an installation depth of 82.5 mm and advanced five-chamber technology, the S 9000 front door delivers exceptional thermal insulation. Its impressive stability comes from a large chamber for reinforcement elements, sturdy shaped steel and corner reinforcements, and a strong connection between vinyl and aluminium components at the threshold.
The door’s weatherboard system enhances both functionality and aesthetics, providing maximum protection against driving rain and effective sealing with multi-level insulation profiles at the threshold.

Robust steel reinforcements
GEALAN’s S 8000 IQ front door features strategically arranged partition bars that allow the largest possible stiffening elements, resulting in steel with 30% higher flexural rigidity. The stiffening elements come pre-milled for quicker assembly. Proven thresholds from other GEALAN systems provide a secure interlocking connection between frame and threshold.
Extensive accessory options
Weldable corner connectors enhance the torsional rigidity and strength of the door wing. The system supports all common door variants and is compatible with standard hardware, locks, and most panel fillings up to 46 mm thick. Doors can be configured to open inward or outward and are available in numerous GEALAN-acrylcolor® colors and woodgrain decor foils.
Thresholds for Accessible Living
The S 8000 front door and French window thresholds are designed for wheelchair-accessible living with a low overall height of just 20 mm. The aluminium cover plate adds robustness, while multiple sealing layers and integrated sealing blocks ensure airtightness.
